On-Demand Webinar: Surviving and Thriving - 2022 Regulatory Update

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) implemented significant regulatory updates in 2022, including changes to Appendix PP of the State Operations Manual. With these changes in regulatory guidance and revised “interpretations” by State Agencies and surveyors, providers need to understand how to proactively implement the regulatory expectations.

During this 60-minute webinar, AAPACN Board Member, Janet K. Feldkamp, JD, BSN, RN, LNHA, CHC, will review these changes, and also discuss recent survey citations and issuances by the Office of the Inspector General and other agencies that may impact future activities and enforcement by regulators. After participating in this session, learners will be able to:

• Take action to be in compliance with the new updates to Appendix PP issued in 2022 and other guidance
• Understand recent survey results based on current challenges with staffing and updated regulations
• Be proactive regarding future OIG and Department of Justice enforcement for post-acute care providers
