Increase your knowledge of clinical assessment and care planning, completion of the MDS, the regulations surrounding the RAI/MDS process, and managing the PDPM by attending an AAPACN Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) certification workshop. Having the RAC-CT credential behind your name shows you are a knowledgeable and capable MDS professional. RAC-CT certification is the nationally recognized gold-standard in resident assessment in the long-term care nursing profession. By earning this credential, individuals have shown their expertise in skilled nursing facility prospective payment system and minimum data set (MDS 3.0) assessment.
Your registration includes three days of instruction from a Master Teacher covering the ten courses of the RAC-CT program, access to the online materials used during the workshop, and access to the ten certification exams required to earn the credential.
This workshop will be hosted in-person the first two days, and online through a virtual platform, the last day.

Any hotel reservation in the Zimmet block without a corresponding workshop registration may be canceled by the hotel and/or Zimmet without notice and subject to the deposit being forfeited. The deadline date to reserve a room in the Zimmet block is Friday July 22, 2022 NO EXCEPTIONS!, or until the Zimmet block is sold out, which may be sooner. Melanie has 30 years of experience in long-term care and has held a variety of positions From CNA to Corporate. She currently holds the position of Director of Quality Initiatives with Zimmet Healthcare Consultants. She is a Master Teacher for AAPACN as RAC-CT, RAC-CTA, QCP, and DNS-CT. Melanie has consulted for several long-term care facilities and has excellent results with improving RAI systems, Quality initiatives, and Reimbursement. She has provided educational programs and presentations on a variety of topic that impact Skilled nursing facilities. She is passionate about person-centered care and resident advocacy.
Alicia Cantinieri, MBA, BSN, RN, RAC-MT, RAC-CTA, QCP
VP of MDS Policy and Education
Alicia Cantinieri MBA, BSN, RN, RAC-MT, RAC-CTA, QCP, DNS-CT is the VP of MDS Policy and Education at Zimmet Healthcare Care Services Group and has been with the firm for over 12 years. Ms. Cantinieri has more than 26 years of experience in direct-care nursing, long-term care reimbursement, and clinical consulting. She is an expert and speaker on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and clinical reimbursement and compliance. She has earned the Resident Assessment Coordinator-Master Teacher (RAC-MT) certification, Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT), Advanced (RAC-CTA), QAPI Certified Professional (QCP)certifications, and Director of Nursing certification (DNS-CT). Alicia earned her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Data Analytics from Louisiana State University Shreveport and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. She maintains memberships in the Sigma Iota Epsilon management honor society, Sigma Theta Tau International nursing honor society, AAPACN, ACHE, and NAHQ.
