After participating in this session, learners will be able to:

  • Describe the benefit of restorative nursing programs (RNPs) to the resident’s overall well-being
  • Recognize the different types of RNPs
  • Understand how to overcome barriers and integrate RNPs into daily care routines
  • Explain the financial benefits of RNPs on Medicare’s Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and some State Medicaid case-mix groups
  • Understand the impact of RNPs on regulatory requirements

1.25 contact hours will be awarded for this continuing nursing education activity. Learners must view at least 80% of the entire video and complete the associated evaluation to receive the contact hours. No partial credit will be awarded. Contact hours will be awarded for this activity until (March 28, 2027).
