PDPM Documentation Essentials for the IDT: Introduction to Nursing Facility Payment and Documentation

This session will help you:

• Identify the different payers used in the nursing facility
• Describe the MDS and how it is used in the nursing facility
• Define the purpose of PDPM
• Recognize the importance of accurate documentation in supporting MDS coding for PDPM classification and reimbursement accuracy
• Identify key documentation areas that influence PDPM

1.0 contact hour will be awarded for this continuing nursing education activity. Learners must view at least 80% of each video, complete all knowledge checks, and submit the associated evaluation to receive the contact hours. No partial credit will be awarded. Contact hours will be awarded for this activity until June 15, 2028.
