Upon completion of the QAPI Feedback, Data Systems, and Monitoring for Skilled Nursing Facilities prep course, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate monitoring and reaction versus a proactive, data-driven approach to data collection and management
  • Illustrate the use of facility goals and key performance indicators and explain how those relate to data collection and management activities of monitoring, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating
  • Establish a strategy to interpret performance by integrating the use of thresholds, benchmarks, trends, and other basic statistical techniques
