Certification Package: Resident Assessment Coordinator - Certified Advanced (RAC-CTA)
The current recertification requirements include taking the on-demand RAC-CTA Recertification workshop and passing the associated exam with a score of at least 80%.
Note: The recertification period opens six months prior to your expiration date. AAPACN recommends that recertification courses or applications not be purchased until you are within your six-month renewal window. If you choose to recertify prior to your six-month renewal window, you will lose your original expiration date and your new certification period will begin from the date of the most recent completion. If your certification is current, the date your recertification period opens is listed above, as well as on your Certifications dashboard.
Purchasing recertification content does not extend the expiration date of your credential. The expiration date for your credential remains the same, regardless of when your on-demand workshop materials expire.
On-Demand Workshop
The recertification course is offered as a three-hour and 15-minute on-demand workshop and includes access to the final exam. Workshop and exam is available in your AAPACN Learner Dashboard within minutes of ordering.
Certification Data Disclaimer
Failure to recertify before your certification expiration date may result in permanent deletion of all data pertaining to the certification, including but not limited to certification-related earnings, enrollments, course progress, and exam results. Your certification expiration date can be found on your learner dashboard.
AAPACN’s learning management system is designed to reset progress data when recertification requirements are unmet, allowing learners to restart the certification process. Note: If your certification is expired, re-enrolling in the certification will reset previous certification progress. Be sure to re-enroll before restarting the courses.
